Nagi no Asukara

The story tells of the meeting and the birth of friendship between a boy, Tsugumu Kihara, and a group of four boys. However, the latter belong to the branch of the human race that lives in the deep sea. In fact, once upon a time, humanity lived on the bottom of the sea thanks to the blessing and gifts of the god of the oceans. However, some humans broke off to migrate to the mainland. Time passed until the two populations forgot each other's existence.
