The protagonist of the moment is the young Ash Blake, a student of the Ansarivan Dragonar Academy where the students are instructed in the training of the mighty creatures. Despite an (alleged) innate talent in the matter, Ash has never managed to call even a lizard and for this reason he is the laughing stock of the whole academy. One day, however, Ash finally manages to summon his dragon who, however, has the appearance of a young girl who not only refuses to obey him but reduces him to a follower of her.
