Krypto the Superdog

The planet Krypton is about to be destroyed, so Jor-El, Superman's father, builds a spaceship and puts a white dog named Krypto on board, then sends it into space for a test flight to see if it is safe for a interstellar travel. But Krypto, playing with a rubber ball, damages the controls, so the shuttle system puts the cub to sleep and heads for Earth. Upon arrival on Earth, Krypto discovers that he has become an adult, and possesses superpowers similar to those of Superman (since all Kryptonian living beings acquire superpowers when exposed to a yellow sun like Earth's). Later, Krypto is adopted by an Earth boy named Kevin Whitney, with the blessing of Superman himself. Krypto lives with Kevin's family pretending to be a normal dog, but he also has an alter ego, the superhero "Superdog" (the owner is the only member of the family who knows the secret).
