Moon Knight

  • Format: live-action TV series

Screen: Moon Knight introduces the character with dissociative identity disorder Marc Spector (played by Oscar Isaac) into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This is a mercenary whose identity is shared with the milder Steven Grant. Marc has a pact with the Egyptian divinity Khonshu and together with him and the powers that the divinity has given him he fights crime. The arrival of villain Arthur Harrow (played by Ethan Hawke) sets in motion a series of events, which lead the unsuspecting Steven to understand Marc's existence and his sad past. Together with them there is Layla El-Faouly aka Marc's ex-wife (played by May Calamawy).

morbius

  • Format: live-action film
  • Released in cinemas on March 31st

  • Notes: Morbius is part of the Sony Marvel universe

Screen: Morbius is a story about the origins of the lead character, which gives the film its name. Doctor Michael Morbius (played by Jared Leto) seeks a cure for his very rare blood disorder until he finds it. The cure, however, transforms him into a vampire in need of blood: Morbius, for this, must fight against his instinct trying to stop even an old acquaintance.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

Screen: The second film starring Doctor Strange (played by Benedict Cumberbatch) definitively opens the doors to the Multiverse, thanks to the evil plan put in place by Scarlet Witch (played by Elizabeth Olsen), which corrupts Wanda Maximoff through the Book of the Damned aka the Darkhold. The purpose of the corrupt Wanda is to steal the powers of the new character America Chavez (played by Xochitl Gomez) and use them to move between the dimensions of the Multiverse in order to be with her children. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness also features Wong (played by Benedict Wong) and the formation of the Illuminati.

Thor: Love and Thunder

Screen: In the fourth solo film dedicated to Thor, the God of Thunder must face his past and decide who he really wants to be. In the film, Thor (played by Chris Hemsworth) meets his ex-girlfriend Jane Foster (played by Natalie Portman), who is ill with cancer but at the same time is chosen by the Mjolnir hammer to become the Mighty Thor. The two reunited, along with Korg and Valkyrie, fight against a new threat, which intends to kill all the gods of the universe. This new villain is called Gorr the Slaughterer of Gods (played by Christian Bale).

I am Groot

Screen: Baby Groot is the absolute protagonist of this series of animated short films in which he combines all the colors. A product suitable for the little ones.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law

  • Format: live-action TV series
  • Number of episodes: 9
  • Streaming on August 18th

  • Notes: She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is part of Phase 4 of the MCU

Screen: The series first introduces the character of Jennifer Walters aka She-Hulk (played by Tatiana Maslany), a lawyer who deals with superhuman legal problems, to the MCU. The character of Emil Blonsky aka Abomination (played by Tim Roth) also returns, and Matt Mardock aka Daredevil (played by Charlie Cox) and Wong (Benedict Wong) also makes an appearance.

The related titles of Disney +: The Marvel Studios Legends series has added a 10-minute short dedicated to the story of Bruce Banner in the MCU.

Spider-Man: No Way Home - The More Fun Stuff

Screen: Due to a spell wanted by Peter Parker (played by Tom Holland) and performed (badly) by Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) in the universe of Earth-616, villains from other universes arrive: Goblin, Doctor Octopus and the Man Sand from the Spider-Man films directed by Sam Raimi and Electro and Lizard from The Amazing Spider-Man films directed by Marc Webb. The film also features Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man.

Marvel Studios Presents: Licantropus

  • Format: live-action special
  • Streaming release date 7 October
  • Where to see it: on Disney +
  • Notes: Werewolf by Night is played by Gael García Bernal, Laura Donnelly in the role of Elsa Bloodstone. The special is directed by the famous composer Michael Giacchino and Jaycob Maya

Screen: Judging by the trailer, Werewolf by Night is evidently a homage to classic black and white horror films. The story revolves around a group of hunters, who gather to participate in a monster hunt. The reward is the famous Bloodstone, a very powerful artifact you can use to catch monsters.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever

  • Format: live-action film
  • Released in cinemas on November 9th
  • Streaming releases: February 1, 2023
  • Where to see it: on Disney +
  • Notes: Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is part of Phase 4 of the MCU and is the second film dedicated to the character, but unfortunately there will be no Chadwick Boseman due to premature death

Screen: Wakanda is now known all over the world but will have to deal without its King T'Challa. New characters appear in the film such as Riri Williams aka Ironheart, played by Dominique Thorne, and Namor, played by Tenoch Huerta.

The related titles of Disney +: At the moment the only title to see before this is 2018's Black Panther.

The Guardians of the Galaxy Christmas special

  • Format: live-action special
  • Streamed November 25th
  • Where to see it: on Disney +
  • Notes: Written and directed by James Gunn, the special closes Phase 4 and bridges the Guardians of the Galaxy adventure between their appearance in Thor: Love and Thunder and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3

The related titles of Disney +: At the moment, apart from the films with the Guardians of the Galaxy as protagonists, you can see the series of short films with the absolute protagonist Baby Groot.

Marvel fixes a major timeline error [PHOTOS]

Marvel fixed a timeline error in the TV series Ms. Marvel. The error is about the color of the Statue of Liberty, the famous New York monument that can be seen in two separate scenes during the sixth episode of the series, entitled No Normal. Specifically, it is the opening scene of the episode and the closing scene in which the credits roll.
