Project CARS 2 welcomes Ferraris

Starting with what is probably the most beautiful car I've ever raced on the track, namely the Ferrari 330 P4 from 1967 (whose photo proudly stood out in Enzo Ferrari's office starting from the day the Cavallino won the historic Daytona victory), up to today's models such as the GT Warrior, 488 GT3 and iconic ones such as the Ferrari GTO 288 of 1984 (the first supercar to reach 300 km / h), the F40LM of 1989 (the GT version of the first supercar to reach 300 km / h) and LaFerrari, the new hypercar from Maranello, Project CARS 2 will allow its drivers to retrace the history of the most iconic car manufacturer in the world.

Curating and selecting the Ferrari models that helped build 80 years of glorious automotive history was both a challenge and an immense joy.

said Stephen Viljoen, game director of Project CARS 2.

The first request from our players after the release of Project CARS 1 was to bring Ferrari into the game. We are really proud and happy to be able to please them. The primary objective was to faithfully reproduce the maneuverability and legendary performance of these extraordinary models.

Andy Tudor, creative director of Slightly Mad Studios, added instead:

Our players are thrilled to be able to drive Ferrari in Project CARS 2. But for us it was also a difficult challenge. With such a great history and expectations, being able to reproduce the driving feeling of these Ferrari models in the game was a great responsibility for us. Project CARS 2 and Ferrari enthusiasts and drivers wanted to find the same unmistakable characteristics in the game that made Maranello cars immortal. We are eager to see our players driving these extraordinary cars and let them experience all the emotions they are able to give.

Project CARS 2 to be released on September 21st

The Ferrari 330 P4, 365 GTB4 Competizione, 288 GTO, F40 LM, F333 SP, F50 GT, Enzo Ferrari, 488 GT3, 488 GTE and LaFerrari models will make their debut in Project CARS 2 on 22 September 2017 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. In Italy the physical version will be available from 21 September 2017.
